With strong faith and reliance on you, the wish-fulfilling jewel-Guru Shall receive your blessing as we pray and give thanks to you. The above is extracted from the middle-length lineage prayer of the Sky Dharma (Nam Cho) Great Perfection text “Buddhahood in the Palm of Your Hands”. The long lineage prayer is the Sky Dharma Great Perfection Supplication Prayer. The most simplistic way of practice is to look upon the Guru as the embodiment of all the Buddhas, and make the seven supplications to Guru according to the oral transmission lineage. As the scripture stated that it is very profound to make supplication to the Guru with the understanding that Guru is the embodiment of all the Buddhas in the Guru Yoga practice. This supplication prayer is written by the Dharma Lord of Nam Cho, Kunzang Sherab, as requested by Dorje Jiumei at Lhang Drag Monastery. If there is any shortcoming, we shall confess before the root guru with the wish of never be separated from the guru, and then dedicate merits for the propagation of the Great Perfection teaching, Victory!

如此口中唸誦同時心中也要思維，肝、心、胸都依靠上師，一切都您上師知，淚水橫流感恩戴德之心而祈請。此是自受四灌 頂。其他念誦順序不要顛倒，假如不會念誦長儀軌者或共修時只念誦等虛空如母眾生之四身祈請文亦可，或者天法伏藏傳承祈請文 也可，其他多種傳承祈請文不需要全部念誦，因為在此上師觀為諸佛總集。上師法身遠離壹切世俗相，上師報身是十地菩薩才能 見，非我等凡夫能見，上師化身為諸佛總集是我此現前根本上師，如此善加思維而全心祈請，不管修共與不共成就法此法為根本精 要不可缺，一切教授都以此法為根本精要，覺受此法則通萬法，得無量加持，不得覺受則無論怎樣修大圓滿及脈氣明點等不能得證 悟，因為不能得到傳承的加持續，實修大圓滿立斷等時有多種消除魔障及超拔修行的口訣，其根本實為上師相應法，修唯一此法能 消除魔障及修行進步，所以此法特別殊勝，修此法之功德無可言述，口耳口訣明了，此七次祈請文為以口耳傳承抄錄。自行灌頂 等，藏歷水兔年一月六日東嘎托寺嘎傑昆桑協拉邀請仁真珠貝旺秋多傑紮波紮所說，昆桑協拉抄錄，功德回向於眾生獲得十三地金 剛總持果位。

As one recite the prayer, one should also contemplate and whole-heartedly rely on the guru, and supplicate with thanksgiving. As such one receives the four initiations from the guru. Other recitation should follow the order of the text. If one does not know how to recite the long supplication prayer, reciting the “THE FOUR-FOLD PRAYER FOR MOTHERLY SENTIENT BEINGS EQUAL TO SPACE” is also sufficient, or recite “THE NAMCHO DZOGCHEN TERMA ORAL TRANSMISSION LINEAGE PRAYER”. It is not necessary to recite all the lineage supplication prayers as Guru is the embodiment of all Buddhas. The Dharmakaya (Truth Body) of the Guru is beyond the ordinary appearance. The Sambhogakaya (Complete Enjoyment Body) of the Guru can only be seen by 10th ground bodhisattvas and cannot be perceived by ordinary beings like us. The Nirmanakaya (Emanation Body) of the Guru is the embodiment of all the Buddhas in the form of our root guru. With such thought and make supplication whole-heartedly is the essence of the practice for both common and uncommon attainments, and it is the essence of all the teachings. Understand this principle, we shall gain realisation of all the Dharma and receive immeasurable blessing; without this understanding, no matter how hard one practice the Great Perfection, Channels, Winds, and Drops etc, will never gain realisation because one cannot receive the blessing of the lineage masters. In practice the Great Perfection Cutting Through, there are several oral instructions on eliminate demonic hindrances, and the practice of Leap Over, its basis is none other than Guru Yoga, as Guru Yoga will eliminate demonic hindrances and help us to progress in the path, therefore, Guru Yoga is a very profound practice. It is beyond words that can describe the benefits of Guru Yoga practice. This seven supplication prayers were recorded based on oral transmission, include the self-initiation, etc. In the Tibetan Water Rabbit Year first month sixth day, at Kathog Monastery, requested by Kunzang Sherab to Rinchen Pewang Dorje Dragpo and recorded by Kunzang Sherab. May the merits be dedicated for all sentient beings to attain the state of 13th ground Vajradharahood.
