ESSENTIAL ARRANGEMENT

基本布置

For an essential shrine you will need the following substances and articles.

基本佛坛需要以下物质与器具。

Shrine

—A Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik poster or thangka consecrated in the proper way

——一幅如法开光的无死圣母心髓印刷画像或唐卡

—A Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik mandala to place under the torma

——一幅无死圣母心髓坛城图，放于食子下方

—A Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik torma, or a simple white offering torma

——无死圣母心髓食子，或一个简略白色供养食子

—Kapalas containing amrita and rakta

——盛甘露与血供的嘎巴拉碗

—A tripod as support for the kapala or the small bowl

——一个三脚架，用以支承嘎巴拉碗或小碗

—A kapala or a small bowl containing the white pills made of the 12 substances or, if that is not possible, of tsampa with amrita

——嘎巴拉碗或小碗，盛以十二种物质制成的白色丸药；若做不到，则用糌粑与甘露制丸

—A red cloth to cover the white pills, folded 8 times (if possible)

—A set of offering bowls and lamp

—A container to keep the remainder for the duration of the recitation

The torma can be in front or behind, whatever is easier. Offering bowls can be in front or around, whatever is most convenient.

食子可放前面或后面，以方便为准。供碗可放前方或周围，以最方便为准。

—Kusha grass to make a crossed vajra

—Rice for the svastika

You’ll also need vajra, bell and damaru.

Approach Phase—Essential Shrine

近修阶段——基本佛坛

For the accomplishment phase:

成就阶段：

—Place a phumba containing the twenty-five substances¹²² with a white cloth tied at the neck to the right of the kapala

——嘎巴拉右侧放一 phumba，内盛二十五种物质[122]，瓶颈系白布

—To the left, put a stand made of precious substances that contains the long-life torma

——左侧放置珍贵材质制成的托架，盛长寿食子

—Refresh amrita, torma and rakta

——更换甘露、食子与血供

The arrangement for the activity phase is the same.

事业阶段的布置相同。

Accomplishment Phase—Essential Shrine

ELABORATE

If you want to make your shrine more elaborate, the following is recommended by Ngawang Tsultrim, the ritual master at Trulshik Rinpoche’s seat Thubten Chöling, but it must be understood that the essential shrine set up is complete.

若想把佛坛布置得更丰富，以下是楚西仁波切驻锡地 Thubten Chöling 的仪轨师 Ngawang Tsultrim 的建议；但须明白，基本布置已经完整。
