THIS TRANSLATION was made possible by the kindness of several sublime masters who answered questions and gave important explanations. The first version of this text was fine-tuned by the editor Mary Racine, and the subsequent revision by Kay Henry, to whom we are very grateful. Our deep gratitude is extended to all the patrons of the dharma, who—like the wind—invisibly carry this and all translation projects along to fruition by allowing us the freedom and dignity to devote all of our time to the art and craft of translation work. In particular, we thank our vajra brother David Bolduc for printing, publishing, and distributing this restricted book, so that it can still be made available to those who qualify to practice this pinnacle of all paths to liberation.

May the lives of the lineage masters be stable and firm. May the doctrine remain in this world forever, and may the patrons of the dharma enjoy long life and happiness, as well as the fulfillment of all their goals. May the suffering of the six classes of beings be brought to an end as quickly as possible; and through these efforts, may all beings come to tread upon the path that leads to everlasting liberation and ultimate peace.

愿传承上师寿命坚固，愿教法永住世间，愿护法施主长寿安乐、诸愿圆满。愿六道众生之苦尽速止息，愿由这些努力，一切众生得以踏上通向永久解脱、究竟寂静之道。

Finally, because of its highly secretive nature, this terma revelation is meant to be studied and practiced only under the guidance of a fully qualified lineage master. Hence, comprehension and realization of this text is entirely dependent upon the connection made with such a teacher, as well as one’s faith, devotion, and respect for the lineage. May all who possess these prerequisites and noble qualities have the opportunity to encounter this rare and precious opportunity.

最后，由于此伏藏极其秘密，仅应在完全合格的传承上师指导下研习、修持。因此，对本文的理解与证悟，完全取决于同这样一位上师建立的关系，以及对传承的信心、虔敬、尊重。愿具这些前提与高尚品质者，皆有缘遇到此稀有珍贵机会。
